2007 VW T5 Conversion Gallery [What's it worth?]

    Hi All,

Here is my 2007 VW T5 Conversion. Pics are of the finished build.
I have too many pics to upload here so I'm linking to the imgur gallery HERE

What I've posted below is going to be a copy/paste from the ad when I list it for sale.

There are a two things that I have done differently with this build.
1 Roof vent to keep the van cool (also helps when cooking inside)
2 Rear storage to store a 29" Large Mountain Bike.

    The other details are:
    - ~163,000 kms 2007 AXE 128kw
    - 180AH of leisure batteries
    - Upgraded to an Android head unit with 7” touch screen, bluetooth, steering wheel remote, wifi, GPS, apps, etc..
    - Upgraded speakers, tweeters and speakers installed in the rear of the van.
    - Reverse camera
    - Roof racks (Rhino rack aero)
    - Front passenger swivel seat.
    - Cruise control
    - 20" Slim line LED Light bar

    Electrical:
    - 180AH AGM batteries gives you enough power to run cameras, laptops, fridge, etc..
    - 200w of solar panels keeps the batteries topped up and your beer cold.
    - 40A DCDC battery charger allows you to quickly charge the batteries by running the car in case you have cloudy conditions or use a lot of power.
    - 12v Diesel Heater will keep the van toasty warm on cold winter nights. You can comfortably camp in the snow. You can also use this to warm up the van in the morning before starting your commute. Can also dry your ski gear overnight.

    Interior:
    - Cabinets are IKEA kitchen cabinets
    - The bed is only a single bed and folds up to a couch.

    - Vinyl flooring (easy to clean)
    - Modern cabinets with push button latches.
    - Bright LED lights throughout. Separate lights for the rear of the van and storage areas.
    - 38L Waeco fridge/freezer
    - Snow chains included
    - Fan-Tastic Vent which will keep you cool in summer. You can also cook in the van without worrying about steam, smells or condensation. This fan is remote controlled so you don’t need to get out of bed to turn it on. It’s temperature sensitive so the fan with automatically adjust to get the precise temperature you want. The reverse switch can change the direction of the fan and the rain sensor will automatically close the vent if rain is detected. This is Australia and it’s really a must have for our climate.

    - Rear 12v cigarette power sockets so you can plug in any electrical devices such as pumps, compressors, etc..
    - The car stereo can be run off the leisure battery so you can enjoy your music without worrying about running the starter battery flat.

Note: the cabinets in the van are primarily helping in place with rivnuts (aka: nutsert) which means that the cabinets can be removed. This way you can have an empty panel van if required.

What do you reackon it'sd worth? [Tell 'em he's dreamin!!]

    Cheers

Thats a pretty impressive set up , the only advice I would give is NOT to try and trade it in . Dealers have a hatred of the T5,s tiptronic gearbox and will give you nothing for the van , ours with only 110000km in imaculate condition was only worth between $4 and $8 thousand and I heard the valuer say to the salesman " its and automatic I wouldn,t trust it " naturally I walked out and sold it privately . Whilst you could use Car Sales as a guide its a hard one with all that gear , better off selling it on a campervan site of some kind .
